→ Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.

→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.

→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.

(Check: High-voltage line from high-voltage distributor to voltage converter)

Release, tighten and remove high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to voltage converter).

Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6A - High-voltage test adapter to high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to voltage converter). Leave the second connection open.

Measurement 9
Perform measurement 9.
1. 3.1 Setpoint value ≥ 1 GOhm
Evaluate measured result
1. 4.1 If the measured value is within the setpoint value range, continue with measurement 9.1 .
2. 4.2 If the measured value is outside of the setpoint value range, replace high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to voltage converter).
After replacing the high-voltage line, repeat measurement 3.

(Check: Air-conditioning compressor, high-voltage line from voltage converter to air-conditioning compressor)
Remove bulkhead.
Release and disconnect high-voltage line (from voltage converter to air-conditioning compressor) at the voltage converter.

Connect > VAS 6558A/30 - high-voltage test adapter to high-voltage line (from voltage converter to air-conditioning compressor). Leave the second connection open.

Measurement 9.1
Perform measurement 9.1.
1. 8.1 Setpoint value ≥ 10 MOhm
The measurement must be repeated several times until a stable measured value is displayed.
Evaluate measured result
1. 9.1 If the measured value is within the setpoint value range, replace the voltage converter.
  After replacing the voltage converter, repeat measurement 3.
2. 9.2 If the measured value is outside of the setpoint value range, continue with measurement 9.2 .

1. 12.1 Setpoint value ≥ 1 GOhm
Evaluate measured result
1. 13.1 If the measured value is within the setpoint value range, replace the air-conditioning compressor.
  After replacing the air-conditioning compressor, repeat measurement 3.
2. 13.2 If the measured value is outside of the setpoint value range, replace high-voltage line (from voltage converter to air-conditioning compressor).

After replacing the high-voltage line, repeat measurement 3.
