→ Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.

→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.

→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.

Preliminary work for measurement 2

(Check: High-voltage distributor, high-voltage charger, voltage converter, air-conditioning compressor, passenger compartment heater, electric drive motor, front power electronics)

Remove cowl panel cover.
> 508719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COWL PANEL COVER - on "Removing"
Release and disconnect high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to E-box) at the high-voltage distributor.

Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6A - High-voltage test adapter between high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to passenger compartment heater) and high-voltage distributor.

Perform measurement 2.
1. 5.1 Setpoint value ≥ 1.1 MOhm
Evaluate measured result
1. 6.1 If the measured value is within the setpoint value range, continue with measurement 12 .
2. 6.2 If the measured value is outside of the setpoint value range, continue with measurement 3 .
