Preliminary work for measurement 11
(Check: High-voltage line from high-voltage distributor to passenger compartment heater)
- Release and disconnect high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to passenger compartment heater) at the passenger compartment heater and high-voltage distributor.
High-voltage line from high-voltage distributor to passenger compartment heater
- Connect high-voltage test adapter > VAS 6558/9-6A - High-voltage test adapter
to high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to passenger compartment heater). Leave the second connection open.
Measurement 11
- Perform measurement 11.
- 3.1 Setpoint value ≥ 1 GOhm
- Evaluate measured result
- 4.1 If the measured value is within
the tolerance range, replace passenger compartment heater.
After replacing the passenger compartment heater, repeat measurement 5.
- 4.2 If the measured value is outside of the tolerance range, replace high-voltage line (from high-voltage distributor to passenger compartment heater).
- 4.1 If the measured value is within
the tolerance range, replace passenger compartment heater.
After replacing the high-voltage line, repeat measurement 5.
