Assembly Work Involving The Refrigerant System

Information 

• Only the refrigerant oil SP-A2 can be used for the refrigerant R134a. 
• The allocation of refrigerant to the vehicle is controlled using the additional equipment number (M number) and can also be found on the sticker on the vehicle. 
• Read the relevant safety data sheet for handling refrigerant R134a. 

Information 

• For all work on the air-conditioning system that necessitates opening the refrigerant system, the system contents must first be disposed of in accordance with regulations. 
• Dirt and moisture must be kept out of the air-conditioning system pipes and hoses. 
• Cleanliness must be ensured during all work. 
• System components must never be cleaned on the inside with hot steam. 
• Only use nitrogen for cleaning. 
• When replacing a component, all openings must be closed off using suitable stoppers immediately after opening the system.
