Installing Heat EXCHANGER Supply Hose

→ Only appropriately trained and authorized persons are permitted to work on high-voltage vehicles and components.
→ Required qualification: High voltage technician or high voltage expert.
→ Observe national requirements and legislation for this work.
→ Always use insulated tools, e.g. > VAS 6883 - Insulated Tool Set when working on these components.
→ Observe general warning notes for working on the high-voltage system.

- Remove stoppers from line connections.
- Install heat exchanger supply hose -1-
.
- 2.1 Fit heat exchanger supply hose -1- on directional-control valve -2- and electric passenger compartment heater -3- .
- 2.2 Fasten spring band clamps -6- using > VAS 6891 - spring band clamp pliers .
- 2.3 Clip in clip -5- .
- 2.4 Screw in and tighten screw -4- .
> Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
Heat exchanger supply hose
- Position electric line -3-
and clip in clip -1-
on cross member -2-
.

- Position equipotential bonding line, insert screw -1-
and tighten.
> Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)

Information
Check that the high-voltage connectors are engaged fully by carrying out a visual inspection and by pulling gently on the high-voltage connectors.
- Position high-voltage lines, then push on and lock electric plug connections -2 and 3- .
