Preparing Outer Rear Wheel Housing For Installation

1. Position (outer) rear wheel housing and secure it to the body.
2. Prepare joints.

   Penetrated joints

   1. 2.1 Drill bores for blind rivets -A-  . > Diameter 6.6 mm 
   2. 2.2 Punch holes for flow-form rivets -B-  .

      > 5X00IN23 REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

3. Drill holes -B-  for countersunk blind rivets through both sheetmetal panels. > Diameter 6.5 mm 
4. Counterbore rivet holes with > VAS 6957 - 100° countersink. 
5. Drill holes for blind rivets -A-  and -B-  through both sheet metal panels. > Diameter 6.6 mm

6. Prepare joints.

   Joints

   1. 6.1 Drill bore -A-  holes for blind rivets. > Diameter 6.6 mm 
   2. 6.2 Drill -B-  bore holes for countersunk blind rivets. > Diameter 6.5 mm 
   3. 6.3 Counterbore rivet holes with > VAS 6957 - 100° countersink. 
7. Remove outer rear wheel housing.
8. Prepare marked area for bonding and riveting.
