Install (Outer) Rear Wheel Housing

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Install (outer) rear wheel housing and check that it fits perfectly.
2. Apply adhesive evenly to the marked areas of the body. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   Bonding areas

3. Apply adhesive uniformly to the marked area of the rear wheel housing (outer).

   Bonding area

   1. 3.1 Apply adhesive to the marked areas.

      > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   2. 3.2 Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface.

      > Application depth 3 mm 

4. Position (outer) rear wheel housing and secure it to the body.
5. Rivet in (outer) rear wheel housing.

   2. 5.2 Rivet -B-  in (outer) rear wheel housing. > RIVET 9A7.008.473.00

6. Rivet in (outer) rear wheel housing at -A-  and -B-  . > BLIND RIVET 999.190.229.01
