Installing Seat-Well Floor

Information

Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive.
The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed.
Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available.

Install the floor of the seat well and check that it fits correctly.
Remove the floor of the seat well.

- Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface.
Apply adhesive on bonding areas -A- of the body.

> Application depth 0.5 mm

Apply adhesive to the bonding areas of the seat well floor.

- Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface.
1. 4.1 Apply adhesive to the bonding areas -A- of the seat well floor.
  > Application depth 0.5 mm
2. 4.2 Also apply a bead of adhesive all around the bonding surface.
  > Application depth 3 mm
Secure the seat well floor.

Joint connections
1. 5.1 Rivet it in areas -A- .
  > BLIND RIVET 999.190.228.01
2. 5.2 Apply a steel plug-weld in areas -B- .
3. 5.3 Apply a full steel weld in areas -1- .
