Removing Side Boot Floor Plate

  1. Loosen side boot floor plate.

    Self-tapping screws

    1. 1.1 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      > 5X00IN24 SETTING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS

    2. 1.2 Drill out penetrated joints using > Diameter 6.7 mm  .
  2. Loosen side boot floor plate.

    Penetrated joints

    1. 2.1 Drill out penetrated joints -A-  using > Diameter 6, 7 mm  .
    2. 2.2 Remove punch rivet -B-  using > VAS 852 001 - body dent removal system, aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster. 

      > 5X00IN23 REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

  3. Heat bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower.

  5. Remove side boot floor plate.
