Removing Side Member Reinforcement (Section)

  1. Guide out unions on the side member (section).

    Deflection

    Information 

    Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

    1. 1.1  Mark and make cuts -A-  and -B-  .
    2. 1.2  Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld breaker  .
  2. Remove side member reinforcement (section).
