Preparing B-Pillar For Installation

Fit the B-pillar.

1.1 Cut the B-pillar at the transitions to the roof leaving an overlap of 30 mm.

B-pillar trimming area

1.2 Fit and secure the B-pillar.
1.3 Make cuts through the B-pillar and body in the overlap areas.
Check gap dimensions.

B-pillar

Remove B-pillar.
Cut sheetmetal insert used as a welding backing strip for the weld areas from the old B-pillar.
Prepare marked areas for bonding.
