1. 4.1 Loosen friction element welded joints.
  > 5X00IN29 REPLACING FRICTION ELEMENT WELDED JOINT
2. 4.2 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1- .
  > 5X00IN24 SETTING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS
Information

Only drill through one plate thickness on the spotwelds. Do not damage the component underneath.
Drill out spot welds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld remover .

1. 7.1 Grind down welded seams.

  Only drill through one plate thickness on the spotwelds. Do not damage the component underneath.
2. 7.2 Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - spot-weld remover .
Heat bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower .
