Removing Wing Rail (Section)

The wing rail (section) need only be replaced if the outer side member (front section) or the A-pillar must be replaced.

Information

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Mark and make cuts -A - and -B - . > Distance from bottom edge of side part 230 mm > Distance from bottom edge of side part 450 mm

Unscrew self-tapping screws.

Clinch point
Heat bonding area using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower and remove wing rail (section) -1- between the cuts.
