Remove punch rivets using > VAS 6790 - compact booster .

Adhesive tape serves as cut line.
Stick on adhesive tape -1- along the edge of the roof on both sides at dimension -X - . > Distance 5 mm + 2 mm

Information
- Only cut through the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
Make cut on both sides.
Heat bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower .

Remove the roof.
Information

During separation make sure that the components beneath are not damaged.
Remove remaining pieces of roof.

Remaining pieces of roof
1. 7.1 Grind off remaining pieces of roof from the side panels.
2. 7.2 Remove remaining pieces of roof.
