Removing Spring Strut Mount

- Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium
and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster

Punch rivets
- Loosen spring strut mount at the bottom.
Spring strut mount, bottom
- 2.1 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1- .
- 2.2 Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster .
- Loosen spring strut mount at the top.
Spring strut mount, top
- 3.1 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1- .
- 3.2 Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster .
- Grind down welded seams.
Welded seams
- Loosen spring strut mount.
Self-tapping screw
- 5.1 Unscrew self-tapping screw -1- .
- 5.2 Grind down welded seam -2- .
- Heat inner bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower

Inner bonding areas
- Heat outer bonding areas using > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower
.
Outer bonding areas
- Remove spring strut mount.
