Preliminary Work

1. Remove rear underbody cover.

   > 519419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR UNDERBODY

   Draining oil for final drive

1. Position > VAS 6622A - used oil collection and extraction unit  under the rear axle differential.
2. Unscrew both oil drain plugs -1-  and drain transmission oil.

1. 2.1 Fit and tighten new drain plugs.

   > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
