Removing Central Computer (Pcm)

NOTE: NOTIFICATION 
Voltage peaks 
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

    → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

    → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

Information 

The number of electric plug connections will vary depending on equipment.

  1. Loosen the central computer -3-  .

    Central computer PCM

    1. 1.1  Unclip clip -1-  .

      Information 

      Shown on the left side.

      Right side same as left side.

    2. 1.2  Release clip -2-  using a screwdriver.

      Alternatively, unlock with the > 9570/1 - removal tool  .

    3. 1.3  Draw the central computer -3-  out of the holder -4-  far enough -Arrow-  until the electric plug connections are accessible.
  2. Release electric plug connections -1-  and disconnect them.

  3. Remove central computer.
