Removing Mobile Communication Antenna On Body Front Section

NOTE: NOTIFICATION
Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
→ Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

→ Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information

It is not possible to remove the mobile communication antenna without damaging it.
The bonding surface will be damaged during removal.
The mobile communication antenna must be replaced by a new one.

Disconnect electric wire harness -1- .

Electric wire harness
1. 1.1 Release and unplug electric plug connection -2- .
2. 1.2 Loosen clips -3- and set electric wire harness -1- aside -arrow- .
Heat mobile communication antenna on body front section -1- using > V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower and pull it off.
