Removing (Inner) Rear Wheel Housing
- Loosen joints.

Information
Only drill hole through the top sheet-metal panel. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.
- 1.1 Drill out spotwelds -A- using >VAS 882 001 - spot-weld breaker .
- 1.2 Loosen friction element welded joints -B- .
- 1.3 Unscrew self-tapping screws.
- 1.4 Grind down welded seams -1- .
- Loosen joints.
Joint connections
- 2.1 Drill out penetrated joints using >diameter 4 mm .
- 2.2 Unscrew self-tapping screws -2- .
- 2.3 Grind down welded seams -1- .
- Remove punch rivets using >VAS 852 001 - dent removal unit
and >VAS 6790 - compact booster

Punch rivets
- Loosen joints.

- 4.1 Remove punch rivets using >VAS 852 001 - dent removal unit and >VAS 6790 - compact booster .
- 4.2 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1- .
- Drill out spot-weld using >VAS 882 001 - spot-weld remover

- Remove punch rivets using >VAS 852 001 - dent removal unit
and >VAS 6790 - compact booster
