Installing Rear Longitudinal Member And Front Longitudinal Member (Closing Element)

Information 

• Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. 

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

1. Secure rear longitudinal member and front longitudinal member (closing element) and check that they fit perfectly.
2. Remove rear longitudinal member and front longitudinal member (closing element).
3. Apply adhesive on bonding areas of body.

4. Apply adhesive on bonding areas -LHD vehicle -  of body.

5. Apply adhesive to bonding areas of the rear longitudinal member.

6. Apply adhesive -LHD vehicle -  and -RHD vehicle -  to front longitudinal member (closing element).

7. Position rear longitudinal member together with front longitudinal member (closing element) and secure them.
8. Secure rear longitudinal member.
