Removing Wing Rail (Section)

Information 

The wing rail (section) need only be replaced if the outer side member (front section) or the A-pillar must be replaced.

Information 

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

1. Mark and make cuts -A -  and -B -  . >Distance from bottom edge of side part 230 mm  >Distance from bottom edge of side part 450 mm

2. Unscrew self-tapping screws.

3. Drill out penetrated joints.

4. Heat bonding area using >V.A.G 1416 - hot-air blower  and remove wing rail (section) -1-  between the cuts.
