Removing Filler Plate

  1. Loosen filler plate.

    Filler plate

    1. 1.1 Unscrew self-tapping screws -1-  .

      > 5X00IN24 SETTING SELF-TAPPING SCREWS

    2. 1.2 Loosen friction element welded joints -A-  .

      > 5X00IN29 REPLACING FRICTION ELEMENT WELDED JOINT

    3. 1.3 Drill out spotwelds -B-  using >VAS 882 001 - Spot-weld remover  .
  2. Heat bonding areas using >V.A.G 1416 - Hot-Air Blower  .

  3. Remove filler plate.
