Preparing Two-Piece Inner Shoe For Installation

Cut two inner shoes from the old longitudinal member for wheel housing upper section (front section) for connecting the new longitudinal member for wheel housing upper section (front section) and the remaining longitudinal member for wheel housing upper section.

Inner shoe
Prepare inner shoe at the top for installation.

Inner shoe, top
1. 2.1 Secure inner shoe at the top of the body.
  -dimension A- >Overlap 45 mm
2. 2.2. Drill bore for blind rivet through both sheet metal panels using >diameter 6.6 mm .
3. 2.3. Remove inner shoe at the top.
Prepare inner shoe at the bottom for installation.

Inner shoe, bottom
1. 3.1 Secure inner shoe at the bottom of the body.
  -dimension A- >Overlap 45 mm
2. 3.2. Drill bore for blind rivet through both sheet metal panels using >diameter 6.6 mm .
3. 3.3. Remove inner shoe at the bottom.
Prepare joint areas of the two inner shoes for bonding and riveting.
