Installing Rear Window (Extension)
CAUTION:
Danger of material damage if specified curing time of adhesive is not observed! In order to ensure that the bonded joint is sufficiently strong, the following conditions must be adhered to:
- The vehicle must not be used until the curing time has elapsed.
- Curing time: 2 hours
- Temperature: at least 10 °C
- Fixing time: approx. 1 hour

The bonding surfaces must remain free of grease and dirt.

The rear window (extension) must be inserted 5 minutes after applying adhesive at the latest and must be pressed into the required position.
Information
- The fastening force can be increased by moistening the fastening intake.

must be attached to the outside of the rear window (extension).

- Apply a bead of adhesive on the rear window (extension).
Rear window (extension)
- 2.1 For new rear window (extension): Apply Porsche 2-component window adhesive along the prepared area on the primer on the rear window as a triangular bead of adhesive measuring -X = approx. 15 mm-

- 2.1.1 Adhesive bead overlap in the lower, centre area: > Length 70 mm .
- 2.2 For re-installed rear window (extension) on which adhesive has already been applied: Apply Porsche 2-component window adhesive on the cut-back adhesive bead as a triangular bead of adhesive measuring -X = approx. 15 mm- .
- 2.1 For new rear window (extension): Apply Porsche 2-component window adhesive along the prepared area on the primer on the rear window as a triangular bead of adhesive measuring -X = approx. 15 mm-

Positioning pins
Information
Installation is also possible without centring pins.
- 3.1 Insert centring pins -2- (-Arrow- ).
- 3.2 Gently press on rear window (extension) -1- .
- 3.3 Position rear window (extension) -1- in accordance with gap dimensions.
- 3.4 Fix rear window (extension) -1- in place with adhesive tape.
- Remove suction cups > V.A.G 1344 - Suction lifter .
- Clean visible area.
- 5.1 Remove adhesive that has oozed out immediately and clean the affected visible area using cleaning agent.
