Installing Rear Door Window
NOTE:
Dirty door window glass installed
- Risk of irreparable damage to front window channel seal
→ During installation, make sure that no lubricant from the window guides gets on to the door window glass.
→ Clean the door window glass and check that the front window channel seal is clean.
→ Replace damaged window channel seal.
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Observe specified gap dimensions for rear door window.
Tighten screws to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) .
Information
The adhesive pad cannot be pulled off without damaging it and must always be replaced.
- Securely affix new adhesive pads.
- 2.1 Position adhesive pads so that the assembly openings are completely covered.
- 2.2 Press adhesive pads down firmly.
