Removing Switch For Power Windows (On Passenger's Side)

Information 

• The power windows switch must be pressed up gently while loosening it so that the locking lugs do not engage again after releasing them. 
• If too much pressure is applied, the locking lugs will bend and this will make further removal steps much more difficult. 

1. > 9827 - After positioning the release tool  (-1-  ) on the locking lug -2-  of the switch for power windows -4-  , move it -Arrow direction A-  in and release the front locking lug.

   Information 

   • The power windows switch must be pressed up gently while loosening it so that the locking lugs do not engage again after releasing them. 
   • If too much pressure is applied, the locking lugs will bend and this will make further removal steps much more difficult. 
2. After positioning the tool (scribing needle) -1-  on the locking lug -2-  of the power window switch -4-  , turn it in -Arrow direction A-  and unlock the rear catch.

   Rear locking lug

   Information

3. Unlock the locking lug -1-  with a screwdriver -2-  .

   Information 

   • The power windows switch must be pressed up gently while loosening it so that the locking lugs do not engage again after releasing them. 
   • If too much pressure is applied, the locking lugs will bend and this will make further removal steps much more difficult. 
4. Unlock the locking lug -1-  with a screwdriver -2-  .

5. Pull out switch for power windows -2-  and release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .

6. Remove switch for power windows.
