Adjusting Front Door Window

Marking

1. 1.1 Affix strips of adhesive tape with gap dimensions -Z1-  > Gap dimension 3.6 mm +/- 1.0 mm  > and -Z2-  > Gap dimension 5.2 mm +/- 1.0 mm  > at the positions shown.

Position of front door window

1. 2.1 The strips of adhesive tape -2-  must touch the seal -3-  .

Cover on front power windows mechanism

1. 3.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  .
2. 3.2 Loosen clips -2-  from cover on front power windows mechanism -4-  .
3. 3.3 Press grommet -3-  through cover on front power windows mechanism -4-  .
4. 3.4 Remove cover on front power windows mechanism -4-  .

Information 

The adhesive pad cannot be pulled off without damaging it and must always be replaced.

1. 4.1 Pull off adhesive pads -1-  .

2. 4.2 Loosen front door window -2-  .

   Screws

   1. 4.2.1 Position front door window -2-  in such a way that the screws -1-  are easily accessible.
   2. 4.2.2 Loosen screws -1-  .
3. 4.3 Adjust front door window by moving it in X direction.

   > 0X00IN VEHICLE COORDINATE SYSTEM

   > Gap dimension 9 mm +/- 0.7 mm 

4. 4.4 Adjust front door window in Z direction.

   > 0X00IN VEHICLE COORDINATE SYSTEM

   1. 4.4.1 Adjust outer bracket for front door window -1-  by turning the adjusting screw -2-  using a > 9842/3 - screwdriver  . > Gap dimension 5.2 mm +/- 1.0 mm

   2. 4.4.2 Adjust inner bracket for front door window -1-  by turning the adjusting screw -2-  using a > 9842/3 - screwdriver  . > Gap dimension 3.6 mm +/- 1.0 mm

   Information 

   The adhesive pad cannot be pulled off without damaging it and must always be replaced.

1. 4.5.1 Position adhesive pad so that the assembly opening is completely covered.
2. 4.5.2 Press adhesive pad on firmly.
