Preliminary Work

Information 

• Vehicles with font axle lift system: Set the front axle lift system to "lower"  .
• Vehicles with adjustable chassis: Set the chassis to "normal" (medium height)  .
• The vehicle must be on a level surface  .

1. Carry out initial suspension alignment.

2. Set up adjustment device > VAS 6430/1A - Setting Device with Reflector  with > VAS 6430/3 - ACC reflector mirror  and align it parallel to the vehicle transverse axis.

   Setting up calibration unit

   Information 

   Check that there is sufficient floor space between the vehicle and the adjustment device - the gap between the adjustment device and vehicle must be 1, 160 mm.

   Once the vehicle and adjustment device are aligned, the vehicle and adjustment device must no longer be moved.

3. Unclip cover on sensor at the top and remove it by pulling it forward.

4. Clean sensors using a commercially available cleaning agent and soft cloth.
