Removing Air Pipe (Suction Hose)

  1. Remove suction hose -1-  at the compressor -2-  .

    Mounting for suction hose on compressor

    1. 1.1 Loosen spring band clamp -3-  and pull off suction hose -1-  .
    2. 1.2 Loosen bracket -4-  .
  2. For vehicles with old line routing:  Loosen suction hose from the carbon canister.
    1. 2.1 Unscrew nuts -2-  from the carbon canister -1-  .

    2. 2.2 Carefully lower the carbon canister and loosen brackets -2-  from the suction hose -1-  .

  3. For vehicles with old line routing:  Remove suction hose -1-  .

    1. 3.1 Loosen suction hose at the brackets -2-  .
    2. 3.2 Pull air cleaner -3-  off the bodyshell bolt.
  4. For vehicles with new line routing:  Remove suction hose -1-  .

    1. 4.1 Loosen suction hose at the brackets -2 to 4-  .
    2. 4.2 Pull air cleaner -5-  off the bodyshell bolt.
