Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new screws or nuts following removal.
→ Comply with instructions for repairs.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of parts used.
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Tightening torque for nut on rear seat airbag: > Tightening torque 9.7 Nm (7.2 ftlb.)
