Checking Seat-Belt Buckle
Information
Do not use lubricants to eliminate noises or stiffness of the buttons on the seat-belt buckles.
- Inspect the belt buckle for crack formation and flaking.
In the event of damage, replace the seat belt and seat-belt buckle.

- Push belt latch into the seat-belt buckle. Check whether the lock mechanism has engaged by pulling strongly on the belt strap.
If the belt latch does not lock in the seat-belt buckle even just once in 5 tests, replace the entire seat belt and seat-belt buckle.

- Release the seat belt.
If the belt latch does not release even just once in 5 tests, replace the entire seat belt and seat-belt buckle.
