Removing Coolant Pump

NOTE:
Incorrect handling of pulley
- Risk of damage to pulley
→ The pulley is sensitive to impact. Do not prise off the pulley with a screwdriver.
→ Do not re-use a damaged pulley.

Information
- To ease removal, spray the pulley from the rear side with an anti-corrosion agent.
- Remove air guide at the radiator frame.
- 1.1 Remove clips -2- .
- 1.2 Remove air guide -1- by pulling it upwards.

- Remove coolant pipe -1-
.
- 2.1 Unscrew and remove fastening screws -2- .
- 2.2 Remove coolant pipe -1- .

- Remove pulley -1-
.
- 3.1 > T10172A - Counter-hold tool must be fitted on the pulley -1- , then unscrew fastening screws -2- .
- 3.2 Remove belt pulley -1- .
Coolant pump belt pulley
- Remove coolant pipe -1-
over the coolant pump.
- 4.1 Unscrew and remove fastening screws -2- .
- 4.2 Disconnect coolant pipe -1- from the cylinder head at the right and from the shut-off valve.

- Remove coolant pump -9-
.
- 5.1 Pull off vacuum hose -8- .
- 5.2 Unscrew fastening screws -1 to 7- one after the other in this sequence.
- 5.3 Remove coolant pump -9- . Catch escaping coolant.
