Replacing Control Mechanism For Transmission

Information 

The instructions in the PIWIS Tester  take precedence and in the event of a discrepancy, these are the instructions that must be followed. A discrepancy may arise with later software versions.

  1. Install new control mechanism for transmission.

    > WM, 387719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT 

  2. Connect battery charger.
  3. > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3  must now be connected.
    1. 3.1 Maintenance/repairs must now be selected.
    2. 3.2 Select Transmission electronics (PDK II) control unit.
    3. 3.3 Select Calibration (complete process).
    4. 3.4 Select and start Calibration of transmission after part replacement.
