Removing Hydraulic Control Unit

  1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  on the transmission at the left.

  2. Disconnect connector on transmission housing.
    1. 2.1 Fit a suitable plastic cap for protection in the connector on the transmission side -2-  .
    2. 2.2 Pull off safety clip -3-  and press connector -3-  into transmission housing.

  3. Remove hydraulic control unit.
    1. 3.1 Unscrew screws -5-  and -17-  .
    2. 3.2 Screw two M6 x 95 mm screws > Part No. 900.385.126.01  approx. 10 mm into screw holes 5 and 17.
    3. 3.3 Unscrew the remaining screws in reverse order, from 22-1, and position the hydraulic control unit -23-  on the two long screws.
    4. 3.4 Remove hydraulic control unit -23-  with wire harness.
