Installing Hydraulic Control Unit

Information
- Before installation, check the sealing faces on the electrohydraulic control unit and on the transmission for damage and soiling.
- Damaged or soiled parts must not be used. Ensure absolute cleanliness during installation.
Information
Use new screws following removal.
- Install hydraulic control unit.
- 1.1 Secure hydraulic control unit -23- with two M6 x 95 mm screws > Part No. 900.385.126.01 at a depth of approx. 10 mm in screw holes 5 and 17.
- 1.2 Fit new screws on the hydraulic control unit -23- crosswise and tighten slightly by hand.
- 1.3 Unscrew long screws from screw holes 5 and 17 and fit and tighten new screws -5- and -17- slightly by hand.
- 1.4 Tighten screws -1-
to -22-
in the specified sequence > Initial tightening 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)
+ > Torque angle 180°

Hydraulic control unit
- Push connector -2-
through the transmission housing and secure with a safety clip -3-
.
Transmission housing connector
- Connect and engage electric plug connection -1-
on the transmission at the left.
