Information
When the engine is cold, the cap on the coolant reservoir can be opened briefly in order to release residual pressure in the cooling system.
- Biturbo only: Disconnect pressure hose on charge-air cooler -1- .
- Release and unplug electric plug connection -1-

Information
Re-install coolant temperature sensor (radiator outlet) as quickly as possible or close it off using a suitable stopper to prevent unnecessary coolant loss.
- Remove coolant temperature sensor (radiator outlet) -1-
.
- 3.1 Pull off clamp -2- .
- 3.2 Place cloths underneath.
- 3.3 Remove coolant temperature sensor (radiator outlet) -1- .
