Checking Rotor For Hall Sender

Information
- Always check hall-sender rotor before installation.
- The hall-sender rotor must not come into contact with a magnet.
- If the hall-sender rotor comes close to a magnet, it must be replaced.
- Check condition of rotor using tool > T10473 - Test card
.
- 1.1 > T10473 - Test card-2-
must be held and turned over the rotor -1-
.
- 1.2 An undamaged rotor -1-
will be indicated by continuous stripes -arrows-
.
Result: Rotor OK!

- Second test step: TDC marking
- 2.1 "TDC marking" -arrow-

- Always replace a damaged rotor.
- 3.1 No stripes -arrow-
will be visible if the rotor is damaged.
Result: Rotor not OK - replace it!
