Subsequent Work

Only for ignition coil for cylinders 2 and 3: 

1. Install bracket for torque support.
   1. 1.1 Press ground cable and B+ cable down and guide bracket through under the fuel line.
2. Move torque support bracket -1-  into installation position and fit and tighten screws -2 and 3-  .

   Screw -2-  : > Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) 

   Screw -3-  : > Tightening torque 55 Nm (40.6 ftlb.)

3. For vehicles with particle filter:  Secure differential pressure line to torque support bracket:
   1. 3.1 Fit and tighten screw -1-  .

      > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

4. Clip in B+ cable -1-  on the spring strut dome -arrow-  .

5. Secure ground cable -1-  to the right spring strut dome.
   1. 5.1 Fit and tighten screw -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)

6. Move torque support -1-  into installation position and fit and tighten screw -2-  .

   Screw -2-  : > Initial tightening 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)  + > Final tightening + 90°

7. Install engine cover (design cover).

   > WM, 108319 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE COVER (DESIGN COVER) (V6 TURBO)

8. Install strut.

   > WM, 408619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STRUT (A-STRUT)
