Removing Front Centre Loudspeaker (Dashboard)

NOTE: Voltage peaks 
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

    → Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

  1. Unscrew screws -4-  using a suitable change-over ratchet.

  2. Remove front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre -6-  .

    Removing front centre loudspeaker (dashboard)

    1. 2.1 Loosen front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre -6-  until the electric plug connection -5-  is accessible.
    2. 2.2 Release and unplug electric plug connection -5-  .
    3. 2.3 Remove front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre -6-  .
  3. Also on vehicles with Burmester High-End sound system (I-no. 9VJ): 

    Remove front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre -9-  .

    1. 3.1 Unscrew and remove screw -8-  .
    2. 3.2 Loosen screws -7-  until the front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre -9-  can be pulled out.

    3. 3.3 Pull out front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre until the electric plug connection -10-  is accessible.
    4. 3.4 Release and unplug electric plug connection -10-  .

  4. Remove front loudspeaker (in dashboard) at the centre.
