Teaching Steering Lock Settings

Information 

• If the steering gear is replaced, the steering lock settings must be taught. 
• The steering lock settings are cleared after calibrating the steering-angle sensor and must be re-taught. 

1. Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and start the PIWIS Tester. Switch on ignition
2. Start the diagnostic software.
3. Select control unit Power-steering. 
4. Select the Maintenance/repairs  tab.
5. Press F12 to select Commissioning 
6. Follow the instructions on the Tester.
