Assembly Work Involving The Refrigerant System

Information 

• The refrigerant R1234yf and the refrigerant oil SP-A2 are used for the model year 2017 Panamera. 
• Only the refrigerant oil SP-A2 can be used for the refrigerant R1234yf. 
• The refrigerant R134a is also available for certain markets and only the refrigerant oil SP-A2 can be used for this as well. 
• The allocation of refrigerant to the vehicle is controlled using the additional equipment number (M-number) and can be found on the sticker on the bonnet, at the left in direction of travel. 
• Read the relevant safety data sheet for handling refrigerant R134a and R1234yf. 

Information 

• For all work on the air-conditioning system that necessitates opening the refrigerant system, the system contents must first be disposed of in accordance with regulations. 
• Dirt and moisture must be kept out of the air-conditioning system pipes and hoses. 
• Cleanliness must be ensured during all work. 
• System components must never be cleaned on the inside with hot steam. 
• Only use nitrogen for cleaning. 
• When replacing a component, all openings must be closed off using suitable stoppers immediately after opening the system.
