Removing Electric Passenger Compartment Heater

Information
- Protect high-voltage plug connections from dampness.
- Do not release high-voltage plug connections until you have opened the cooling system.
- Observe warning notes.

- Have suitable stoppers ready for closing off the connection openings on the electric passenger compartment heater.
- Have suitable material ready to collect emerging coolant.
- Disconnect electric passenger compartment heater -5-
from coolant hoses and fastening parts.
- 4.1 Disconnect coolant hoses from electric passenger compartment heater -5-
.
- 4.1.1 Clamp off coolant hoses using > Nr.192 - hose clamping pliers .
- 4.1.2 Loosen spring band clamps -1- using > VAS 6890 - Spring Band Clamp Pliers .
- 4.1.3 Disconnect coolant hoses and close them off using suitable stoppers.
- 4.1.4 Close off connection openings on the electric passenger compartment heater using suitable stoppers.
- 4.2 Remove electric plug connection -3- from the holder and set it aside.
- 4.3 Open the clip -2- .
- 4.4 Unscrew screw on holder -4- .
