Removing Cylinder Head

Remove coolant lines.
1. 1.1 Unscrew screws -1- and remove coolant line -2- .
2. 1.2 Unscrew screw -3- and nut -4- and remove coolant line -5- .

Cylinder bank 1-4: Remove chain tensioner and collar axle for guide rail.
1. 2.1 Unscrew collar axle -1- .
2. 2.2 Unscrew screws -2- and remove chain tensioner -3- .

Cylinder bank 5-8: Remove chain tensioner and loosen guide rail.
1. 3.1 Unscrew and remove screw -1- .
2. 3.2 Unscrew screws -2- and remove chain tensioner -3- .

Information
- Be careful - cylinder heads are heavy.
Remove cylinder head.
1. 4.1 Loosen and unscrew screws in reverse order to the tightening sequence -11 to 1- .
2. 4.2 Remove cylinder head and dispose of cylinder head gasket.
3. 4.3 Carefully clean the sealing faces.
