Removing Brake Booster

Information
When carrying out work during which fluids can escape, leave electric plug connections to be disconnected locked and connected for as long as possible. This prevents fluid from getting onto electric contacts and causing corrosion.
Information
Any escaping brake fluid must be removed immediately. Rinse contacts with water and dry them if necessary.
- Have suitable aids ready to soak up emerging fluids and have stoppers ready for closing off the line connections.
- Unscrew nuts on the brake booster -1-

- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for brake fluid reservoir -1- .
- Disconnect return hose -2-

- 4.1 Press release buttons and pull off return hose -2- .
- 4.2 Close off connections using stoppers and move return hose -2- aside.

- Release and disconnect electric plug connection for brake booster -1-

- Disconnect brake lines.
- 6.1 Place cloths under the brake master cylinder and brake booster -arrow- to soak up emerging brake fluid.
- 6.2 Unscrew union nuts -1- .
- 6.3 Pull off brake lines -2- and close off connections using stoppers.
- 6.4 Set brake lines -2- aside.

Make sure not to damage the push rod boot when removing the brake booster.
