Replacing ATF

Information 

To ensure that the transmission is filled correctly, the vehicle must be horizontal on the lifting platform.

1. Drain ATF.
   1. 1.1 Place a collection pan under the Porsche Double-clutch transmission (PDK).

      Information 

      The change quantity is approx. 9 liters.

   2. 1.2 Open the oil drain plug -1-  and drain ATF.
   3. 1.3 Screw in and tighten new oil drain plug.

      > Tightening torque 12 Nm (9 ftlb.)

2. Add ATF.
   1. 2.1 Unscrew oil inspection plug -3-  .
   2. 2.2 Screw > VAS 6262/2 - adapter for filling ATF oil  hand-tight into the lifting tube -2-  .
   3. 2.3 Connect > VAS 6617 - transmission oil hand pump  .
   4. 2.4 Shake ATF container (1 liter) well and fit it using > VAS 6617 - transmission oil hand pump  .

      Information 

      The change quantity is approx. 9 liters.

   5. 2.5 Fill in ATF until you see a constant discharge of oil.
   6. 2.6 Screw in and tighten the oil inspection plug -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
