Removing Roof Trim Panel

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Fold backrests forward.
  2. Move front seats all the way forward and tilt them to the rear.
  3. Unscrew screws -1-  at the front.

  4. Only for vehicles with electric glass slide/tilt roof (I-no. 3FE) 

    Release and disconnect electric plug connections on sliding roof control unit.

    Information 

    The help of another person is required.

  5. Only for vehicles with electric glass slide/tilt roof (I-no. 3FE) 

    Unclip headliner -2-  in the sliding roof cut-out area.

  6. Unclip rear roof trim panel -2-  and loosen Velcro fasteners.

  7. Unclip roof trim panel -2-  at the front.

  8. Unclip electric wire harness -1-  (-arrows-  ).
  9. Release and remove electric line for reading light.

    Information 

    Make sure that the roof trim panel does not buckle.

  10. Remove roof trim panel by pulling it forward.
