Removing Directional-Control Valve

  1. Remove air inlet housing cover -1-  .

    Air inlet housing cover

    1. 1.1  Unscrew nuts -2-  and remove air inlet housing cover -1-  .
    WARNING: Hot fluid 
    • Danger of scalding 
      1. → Avoid contact with hot fluid.
      2. → Wear personal protective gear.
  2. Remove directional-control valve -1-  .

    Directional-control valve

    1. 2.1  Clamp coolant hoses using > 3094 - hose clamp  .
    2. 2.2  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
    3. 2.3  Loosen spring band clamps -3-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamp pliers  and disconnect coolant hoses from the directional-control valve -1-  .
      1. 2.3.1  Close off line connections using suitable stoppers.
    4. 2.4  Loosen nuts -4-  and remove directional-control valve -1-  .
