Removing Circulating Pump For Auxiliary Heater

Hot components 

• Risk of burns 
  1. → Let hot components cool down.
  2. → Wear personal protective gear.

NOTIFICATION 

Danger of scalding 

• Coolant can be very hot. 
• Coolant may be pressurised. 
  1. → Only remove the heater when the cooling system has cooled down.
  2. → By carefully opening the catch on the reservoir, make sure that the cooling system is depressurised.

1. If installed: Removing heat protection mat -1-  .

   1. 1.1  Open heat protection mat -1-  on the snap fasteners -Arrows-  and remove heat protection mat -1-  .
2. Release electric plug connection -1-  from the circulating pump -2-  and disconnect it.

3. Unclamp both coolant hoses -2-  by -4-  using > 3094 - hose clamp  . > Mounting for coolant hoses on circulating pump

   NOTIFICATION 

   Danger of slipping due to emerging coolant 

   • The emerging coolant will make the floor of the workshop slippery and may cause people to slip and fall over. 
     1. → Collect emerging coolant in a suitable pan.
4. Loosen spring band clamps -1-  by -3-  using > Nr.72 Pos.1 - assembly pliers  and pull off coolant hoses -2-4-  .
5. Unscrew screws -1-  and remove circulating pump -2-  .
