Teaching Remote Control For Auxiliary Heating

Information 

• The remote control for the auxiliary heater can only be taught using the PIWIS Tester. 
• A maximum of three remote controls can be taught per vehicle.

Remote control for auxiliary heating

1. ON button
2. LED
3. OFF button

1. PIWIS Tester  must be connected to the vehicle.
2. Switch on the ignition.
3. Select the vehicle type.
4. Select the Drive links/checks  menu and press F12 to continue.
5. Select the Teach remote control to receiver  menu, press F12 and follow the instructions on the PIWIS Tester. 
6. Press F8 to start the teaching process.
7. Press F8 to start the teaching process.
8. Press F12 to continue (with basic setting). The status changes to "Measured value output with basic setting".
9. When the Teaching remote control  display jumps to SEND,  press the OFF  button -3-  on the remote control immediately for 3 seconds.

10. The Teaching remote control  display changes to learned. 
11. To teach other remote controls, repeat the process.
12. Read out the fault memory  and delete any fault entries.
13. Switch off the ignition.
14. Disconnect the PIWIS Tester  from the vehicle.
15. Carry out a function test on the remote control.
