Removing Coolant Temperature Sensor (Cylinder Head)

Information

When the engine is cold, the cap on the coolant reservoir can be opened briefly in order to release residual pressure in the cooling system.

Remove coolant temperature sensor on cylinder head -1- .

Coolant temperature sensor (cylinder head)
1. 1.1 Have suitable aids ready for catching any emerging coolant.
2. 1.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2- .
3. 1.3 Unscrew screw -3- .
4. 1.4 Remove coolant temperature sensor from cylinder head -1- .
5. 1.5 Catch any emerging coolant using suitable aids.
